Amashio Salt is made from natural sun-dried salt crystals formed by the abundant sun and wind of Shark Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Australia. Using the traditional “Add-Nigari Method” that has been handed down since the Edo period, the salt is carefully finished in Ako, a town famous for salt.
